Gathercole's The Meat People is one of Australia's largest domestic meat processors with 3 abattoirs across the state of Victoria. The family owned company consists of over 200 employee's with a business focused on the production of fresh and frozen meats domestically to foodservice, supermarkets and butcher shops.

ABOUT THE ROLE :

A rare opportunity presents itself to join our team at our Head office in Patterson Lakes. The succesful applicant will have the opportunity to learn all aspects of the wholesale meat industry from the procurement of livestock along the journey to the meat arriving at the customers doorstep. These positions do not come up regularly and are highly sort after.

THE ROLE :

You would be joining a team of 4 people and would be required to be able to work as part of a close knit team. The role would include the phoning of customers from an existing client base, identifying new business opportunities, and developing a great relationship with the company and clients. Most imperative is the desire to look after customers and enjoy what you do. Job training will be provided on-site.

Job hours are Monday - Friday 6am pm. No weekend work.
