Bricklayer

PUNIA TRADES PTY LTD is seeking an experienced Bricklayer for a Full Time, role based in Sydney, NSW . As a Bricklayer, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing brick, concrete block the highest standards.

This is a dynamic, hands-on role offering the opportunity to work on a diverse range of high-end architectural residential projects, from concept through to completion.

What you'll be doing

• Reading and interpreting plans and specifications to carry out bricklaying tasks
• Laying bricks, concrete blocks and other masonry materials to construct walls, foundations, columns, and other structures
• Cutting, shaping and trimming bricks, blocks and other materials to fit around openings and corners
• Maintaining a safe and organized work environment
• Ensuring all work is completed to code and meets quality standards
• Collaborating with other tradespeople on site

What we're looking for

• Certificate III in Bricklaying/Blocklaying
• Minimum 3 years experience as a qualified Bricklayer required, 5+ years preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to specifications
• Proficient in reading and interpreting building plans and technical drawings
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Current driver's license and reliable transport
• Valid Construction Induction Card (White Card)
• Must possess own bricklaying tools and safety equipment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $76,550.00 – $82,000.00 per year
