CLS is a family-owned commercial laundry plant located in Cannonvale, proudly servicing Hamilton Island and mainland hotels. We are seeking a motivated Seamstress to join our mending team.

As a Seamstress, your primary responsibility will be the efficient tag labelling of linen to meet customer orders, averaging 150–250 pieces per day depending on item type.

• Attach tags to new linen quickly and accurately
• Maintain clear and accurate records of orders processed
• Process damaged linen items, including a final quality check of linen before removal from circulation
• Operate embroidery machine for special orders (training provided – no prior experience required)
• Occasional assistant on laundry floor will be required from time to time

We are looking for someone who:

• Has sewing experience or equivalent skill level
• Is highly organised and detail-focused
• Can work independently with minimal supervision
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced, production-driven environment

Professional sewing experience is not essential if your skills are at the right level.

• Casual position
• $31.81 per hour
• Approx. 38 hours per week
• 7:00am – 3:00pm, Monday to Friday
