Compass Rehab is a multidisciplinary allied health service providing occupational therapy, physiotherapy and exercise physiology. Our primary focus is neurological rehabilitation though we aim to target areas of health which are of interest to our team, this includes vestibular rehab. paediatrics & aged care. Located in the heart of the medical precincts in Hervey Bay and Maryborough our service is growing, and we are seeking physiotherapists to join our growing allied health team.
Duties include:
· independently applying clinical judgement, knowledge and skills to clinical physiotherapy tasks and decision making
· provided services include mobility and balance assessments, functional ADL assessments, recommendation and prescription of mobility aids, provision of exercise programs. These services are completed in a variety of settings including Compass Rehab clinics, clients' homes, schools and aquatic centres.
· incorporating strategies within physiotherapy processes and treatment plans that acknowledge and promote interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary teamwork and patient centered care
· liaise with referrers, families, and other stakeholders to support client outcomes
· maintain accurate and timely clinical records and reports for NDIS, Medicare, and private clients
The ideal candidate will need:
· Bachelor of Physiotherapy (or equivalent)
· Current AHPRA registration
· 1-2 years of experience preferable but new grads are encouraged to apply
· Adaptability to changing environments and caseloads
· Excellent time management and organisational skills
· Ability to work autonomously and as part of a close-knit, high-performing team
What we can offer:
· Salary between $80,000 to $120,000, commensurate based on experience
