Are you passionate about supporting children, young people and their carers?  Join Cafs, a values-driven organisation as our Trauma Informed Practitioner ? Foster Care. This role sits within our Client Outcomes Team. As the Trauma Informed Practitioner -Foster Care, you will embed TBRI� through training, coaching, and reflective practice, while contributing to care planning, assessments, and the development of therapeutic strategies. Your work will also support cultural safety, positive behaviour planning, and the continuous improvement of trauma-responsive practices across the organisation.

About You

You are a compassionate and skilled practitioner with a deep understanding of trauma and its impact on children, young people, and their carers. You bring experience in therapeutic care and are passionate about embedding trauma-informed approaches into everyday practice. You are confident in applying Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) and integrating it with other evidence-based frameworks such as the Best Interests Case Practice Framework, Circle of Security, Solihull, Safe and Together, and Compassionate Inquiry.

Skills & Attributes

• Tertiary qualifications in Counselling, Social Work, Psychology or other relevant field
• Significant experience in the Child and Family Services sector working with children and young people
• Design and develop trauma informed processes that will improve outcomes for the client.
• Support in others own development, considering team plans and supporting and driving team deliverables.
