Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Drill Fitter located in the Pilbara. The Drill Fitter will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of drill rigs and mining equipment, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing issues, conducting regular inspections, performing scheduled maintenance, and carrying out necessary repairs.
Qualifications
- Experience with maintenance and repair of drill rigs and mining equipment
- Proficiency in diagnosing mechanical issues and conducting inspections
- Skilled in performing scheduled maintenance and necessary repairs
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively with mechanical and support teams
- Relevant certifications and trade qualifications
- Experience in the mining or heavy industries is advantageous
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
