Samkay Health is a boutique family run aged care provider located in Victoria, with private aged care residences in Victoria. Over the last 3 decades, we have maintained our commitment to providing the highest level of clinical care to our elderly residents while ensuring that they remain comfortable in a home-like environment. We are seeking motivated and committed Laundry & Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Greensborough.

About the role

  • Reliability, flexibility and ability to work as a positive team member in a busy aged care environment
  • Demonstrated resident advocacy while ensuring dignity of residents in your care
  • Possession of a Certificate III in Aged Care (or equivalent qualification).
  • Possession of Food Handling Certificate (if applicable)

This opportunity is for full time, part time or casual shifts.

Skills and experience

  • Passionate about residential aged care
  • Must be flexible and self-motivated with good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Previous experience working in residential aged care
  • Minimum 6 months experience in residential aged care or similar healthcare setting
  • Certificate 3 or higher in Aged Care
  • Current and Valid Police Check
  • Valid Food Safety Certificate or Food Handler's Permit
  • Australian work rights (citizen, permanent resident, or valid work visa)
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
