Cloud Systems Engineer

We're seeking an experienced
Cloud Systems Engineer
to join a high-impact government program modernising critical cloud infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex, secure environments and brings deep AWS expertise with a solid understanding of hybrid cloud setups.

What You'll Do

  • Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable AWS infrastructure.
  • Manage
    VPC
    ,
    EC2
    ,
    Route 53
    ,
    S3
    ,
    S3 Storage Gateway
    ,
    IAM
    ,
    AWS Backups
    ,
    CloudWatch
    , and
    CloudTrail
    .
  • Ensure cloud systems meet compliance, security, and resilience standards.
  • Support hybrid connectivity and integration with
    Azure
    (including
    Entra ID
    and
    SSO
    ).
  • Manage and optimise
    Linux-based systems
    across multiple environments.
  • Contribute to automation, monitoring, and backup strategies across the environment.

What You'll Bring

  • Active Baseline Security Clearance
    (mandatory).
  • Proven hands-on experience across core AWS services (VPC, EC2, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, etc.).
  • Experience with
    Azure Entra ID
    and
    SSO
    in hybrid environments.
  • Strong background in
    Linux systems administration
    .
  • Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
