About the role

The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the management, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of programs and projects led by the Workforce Operational Strategic Unit and ensuring the projects meet the outcomes/requirements within the specified time, cost, scope, risk, and benefits.
Health Manager level 4, starting salary from $141,974 - $169,151 plus Super, with a 38- hour work week.
What you will do
- Drive impactful financial performance by managing strategic projects and programs
- Partner with Local Health Districts to implement best-practice strategies and monitor outcomes
- Lead and promote state-wide efficiency initiatives that deliver real value to the health system
- Identifies risks across projects, develops mitigation strategies, and resolves issues that could impact program success.
- Supports organisational change initiatives tied to programs, including training, communication, and adoption strategies
About you
You're a strategic thinker driving results. To thrive in this role, you'll bring:
- Proven experience leading complex projects and programs from planning through to review
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively
- Sharp analytical thinking and the ability to tackle complex challenges with clarity
- Confidence managing sensitive issues under pressure and delivering high-level advice
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, economics, project management or equivalent experience.
