Commissioning Programmers (2 positions)

Qualifications
A degree in Industrial Control and Automation Engineering(or equivalent) is required. Equivalent experience will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
As Commissioning Programmers, you will be responsible for the development, integration, and commissioning of control software for packaging automation machinery. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the systems are delivered to technical, operational, and safety standards.
Required Skills and Experience
Minimum of 1 year of relevant industry experience in automation programming or commissioning, including the following:
- Programming PLCs, robotic cells, and safety controllers for industrial equipment.
- Conducting pre-installation testing, simulation, and validation of control logic.
- Collaborating with electrical teams to define I/O requirements and ensure smooth hardware-software integration.
- Participating in on-site commissioning, verifying system performance, and adjusting parameters in real time.
- Supporting production ramp-up by providing technical assistance and process optimisation.
- Troubleshooting and resolving system faults in collaboration with engineering and client teams.
- Delivering operational training to end users and supporting the creation of handover documentation.
Personal Attributes
The successful applicants will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and as part of a broader project delivery team. Strong communication and coordination skills are essential for engaging with in-house and external stakeholders.
Salary
TAVIL Australia offers a competitive remuneration package commensurate with experience.
