Storeperson / Forklift Driver – Casual (3-Month Assignment)

Synergie is seeking an Order Picker/Forklift Driver for a busy warehouse environment located in the Scoresby.

Important parts

  • Shift: Starting 8:30am–12:30pm, progressing to full days (8:30am–4:30pm)

  • Days: 3–4 days per week until Christmas. Increase to 4-5 days after the New Years.

  • Pay rate: $35 p/h + Super

  • Start date: ASAP – 3 month assignment with potential to be taken permanantely for the right candidate

  • Perks: Supportive team and hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment

What you will be required to do

  • Operate forklifts to move, load, unload and store pallets

  • Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently

  • Receive and dispatch goods, including container unloading

  • Complete general warehouse tasks such as stacking, unstacking and organising stock

  • Maintain a clean warehouse and equipment when required

To be successful in the role you will

  • Have proven experience in warehousing, order picking and dispatch (food environment advantageous)

  • Hold a valid forklift licence with at least 2 years' experience operating safely

  • Be physically fit for manual handling and occasional heavy lifting, up to 25kg.

  • Have strong attention to detail, prioritisation skills and a proactive attitude

  • Be comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficiency in MS Office is beneficial but not essential

  • Have full working rights in Australia

  • Have reliable transport and a commitment to safe work practices
