Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Ramsay Health Care Full time $104,000 - $130,878 per year

Ramsay Health Care is a leading global provider of private hospitals and primary care clinics, with more than 70 facilities across Australia and a team of 35,000 dedicated employees. Since 1964, we've been committed to delivering exceptional patient care, guided by The Ramsay Way philosophy of 'People Caring for People'.

We're proud to be recognised as an employer of choice, with a strong focus on employee wellbeing, professional development and long-term career growth. As we continue to grow, we remain dedicated to creating a bright future—for our people and the communities we serve.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Program Manager to lead and coordinate complex transformation initiatives across our RCM function. This is not a traditional program management role – it requires a unique blend of strategic orchestration and hands-on delivery to ensure measurable improvements in financial performance, operations, compliance and patient experience.

The successful candidate will balance governance, reporting and stakeholder alignment with practical delivery support, bridging capability gaps to keep projects on track. If you're motivated by achieving meaningful outcomes and have deep knowledge of revenue cycle operations, this is an opportunity to make a real impact.

What you'll be doing

  • Establish and oversee program governance frameworks, reporting cadence and benefit tracking.
  • Provide direct delivery support to SME stream leads and project teams to accelerate progress.
  • Manage interdependencies across RCM initiatives, ensuring integration and alignment.
  • Engage, influence and partner with senior executives, hospital/state sponsors and transformation teams.
  • Lead and guide cross-functional program teams, fostering collaboration and capability development.
  • Drive benefit realisation, tracking financial and non-financial outcomes.
  • Monitor performance using KPIs, providing clear executive reporting on progress, risks and benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies and healthcare regulations.
  • Oversee program resources and budget, ensuring effective allocation to delivery priorities.
  • Support change management and adoption of outcomes into BAU hospital and centralised operations.

About You

You're an experienced program manager with a solid understanding of revenue cycle operations and the confidence to work across both strategy and delivery. You bring strong stakeholder engagement skills, clear communication and the ability to drive measurable outcomes in complex environments.

You will bring:

  • 3+ years' experience in healthcare program management or similar roles.
  • Knowledge of Revenue Cycle Management (administration, coding, billing, collections).
  • Proven ability to balance governance with hands-on delivery support.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, including benefit measurement.
  • Excellent communication skills for executive-level reporting and presentations.
  • Leadership and organisational capability, with a track record of delivering outcomes.
  • Proficiency in program/project management tools.

Desirable:

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Health Administration, Program/Project Management, or related field.
  • Experience in digital transformation or process improvement.
  • Formal program/project management certification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, Agile/Scrum).
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma, change management, or benefit realisation.
