About Our School
St Anthony's Primary School is situated in the bayside area of Brisbane known as Redlands City and prides itself on the spirit that can be found in our students, teachers, sporting teams, achievements, friendships and approach to learning. We are a co-educational school with a current enrolment of approximately 500 students. Our school offers the latest in teaching and learning, technology and extracurricular activities

Summary
Support teachers in delivering powerful strategies that supercharge student learning and success in every subject

• Work hours: 16 Hours/week (4x days/week)
• Salary: School Officer Level 3 - $34.17 per hour + super (School Salary Scale)
• Status: Fixerd Term (2026 School Year contract

About The Opportunity
In this position you will be responsible for:

• Assisting with the planning, preparation and delivery of effective learning and teaching programs for students including the use technology and learning support activities
• Monitoring the progress of students and identifing learning areas to provide evidence-based intervention strategies
• Improving student learning outcomes by providing support and advice on supporting students with diverse learning needs
• Collaborating with school specialists in organising and assisting with intervention groups to coordinate services
• Documenting observation notes, intervention programs and assist in the collation and preparation of classroom materials.

About You
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:

• Strong skills in planning, preparing, and delivering effective teaching programs
• Ability to monitor student progress and apply evidence-based interventions
• Expertise in supporting diverse learning needs to improve student outcomes
• Collaborative skills to work with specialists and coordinate intervention groups
• Proficient in documenting observations, managing intervention programs, and preparing classroom materials
• Certificate III in Education Support
• For this position you are not required to be Catholic.

Eligibility And Safeguarding Requirements

• Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
• Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement.
