SENIOR HAIRDRESSER
As a hair salon, Studio23GC prides itself in providing quality service to all our clients. From keratin treatments and olaplex, to hair extension, creative colour, chemical straightening and style cuts, we offer everything you could want from a premium hair salon.
Our hair salon is located at the Harbour Town Shopping Centre at the Gold Coast, Queensland.
ABOUT THE POSITION
Studio23GC is currently looking for Senior Hairdresser to join the team. As a Senior Hairdresser your everyday main duties include the following:
- Arranging appointments with customers;
- Have knowledge and be able to advise customers on haircare products and hairstyles;
- Must present all the skills of a fully qualified hair dresser, including colouring, cutting, shampooing and conditioning hair; dying hair;
- Styling hair, including straightening, waving and all sort of modern hairstyles;
- Must have knowledge and be able to use of different chemicals for hair colouring, permanent waves etc.;
- Must be able to use scissors, clippers and razors;
- At the end of each work day / each job – clean the salon and work instruments.
We are looking for a Senior Hairdresser who holds formal qualifications (Certificate III or IV) with at least 3 years of relevant work experience. A stylist best suited to our role will have a range of experience from basic services to modern day techniques such as balayage. They will have a wide range of knowledge when it comes to products and brands. Not only is experience essential but the applicant must also be willing to continue to educate, learn and develop within the salon position.
Additionally, you will be required to have the following skills:
- Ability to self manage as well as work as a team
- Be outgoing and willing to step outside of comfort zone
- Have a passion for hairdressing and client satisfaction
- Good time management is essential
- Be able to implement new taught techniques and grow through education
- Be able to grow with the profession and change in industry. From self education to development courses
We are offering a generous salary of $55,000 - $67,000 per annum (exclusive of superannuation) to the right candidate.
