Job tasks and responsibilities

The role includes the following responsibilities:

• Data entry and reconciliations

• Preparation of statutory obligations such as IAS, BAS and STP Finalisation

• Processing of payroll and superannuation

• Provide recommendations on tailored software solutions for our clients

• Assist our clients to improve their bookkeeping processes through process design and software set up and integration

• Provide our clients with ongoing training and support

Skills and experience

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• At least 2 years experience in a bookkeeping role is essential, preferably in an accounting firm

• Extensive experience using bookkeeping software in particular Xero and MYOB

• Have a passion and knowledge of leading software packages and integrations

• Professional manner and good communication skills

• Experience in working to deadlines and time management skills

• Ability to apply a commercial approach to their work
