Bajwa EnviroConsult offers a broad range of environmental consulting and advisory services. We specialise in environmental compliance, waste management, including resource recovery and sustainability, and land contamination and remediation. We provide extensive consulting services for industrial facilities, including designs and auditor design verifications, construction supervision and auditing, environmental monitoring and reporting, and operation and aftercare management auditing, in accordance with Victorian and Western Australian regulatory requirements.

We also have a depth of experience in delivering local, State and Commonwealth environmental approvals, for complex and unique projects, including major infrastructure projects.

This is complemented by our other services which enable us to provide end-to-end environmental support for projects, from the design and approval phase right through to delivery and verification.

Your opportunity

We are seeking a Graduate Environmental Consultant to join our Melbourne-based team. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing business with a strong client portfolio and become part of a team that is well known and respected in the environmental sector. As a Graduate Environmental Consultant, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills on a variety of environmental projects. You will work closely with senior staff at Bajwa EnviroConsult. You will be encouraged to take the lead on a range of projects and tasks with the support of our experienced team.

Key aspects of this role include:

• Assistance with preparation of environmental audit reports.

• Assistance in conducting environmental monitoring and assessment, including groundwater, surface water, leachate soil, landfill gas & vapour.

• Infrastructure design and 3D modelling.

• Preparation of environmental assessment reports and management plans for waste management and resource recovery facilities.

• Assistance in supervising landfill construction works as Geotechnical Inspection and Testing Authority (GITA) and Third Party Construction Quality Assurance Consultant (TPCC).

• Exposure to a broad range of clients.

• Working at offices and project sites primarily within Victoria will be required. Some travel to NSW or WA may be required.

The role will be predominately field based initially, with a gradual transition to office-based work as skills and experience develop.

About you

• You have completed a Bachelor Degree or higher in Environmental/Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or Science.

• You are an Australian citizen or permanent resident or a New Zealand citizen, or hold a valid visa with permission to work in Australia.

• You have an aptitude for learning and a positive attitude.

• You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• You are a self-motivated individual that enjoys working collaboratively to identify solutions.
