About the opportunity

We are seeking an energetic and team orientated Field Service Plant Mechanic to be based at our Albion Park Workshop to deliver hands on mechanical and technical support both within our Workshop and at our Onsite Projects.

As the successful applicant you will be required to perform repairs, maintenance and inspections on a large range of earthmoving equipment. You will rely on your high level of technical skill and expertise to carry out these duties.

What we are looking for

As the successful candidate you will be a trade qualified mechanic and possess the following skills:

  • Proven experience in a similar role

  • Mechanical trade qualification (Dual Trade – Mechanical & Auto Electrical will be looked on favourably, however not essential)

  • Familiar with all Earthmoving Equipment

  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent diagnostic and repair skills

  • Strong job planning skills

  • Dedicated to maintaining safe work practices and environment

  • Ability to work autonomously in the field as well as in a team/workshop environment

  • Hold Heavy Vehicle trade qualification

You will have a proactive approach to your work with demonstrated experience working in high performing teams and have a methodical approach to problem solving.
