The Bellarine Peninsula Basketball Association (BPBA) is the leading basketball organization serving the Bellarine region of Victoria. With a proud history and strong focus on community, development, and excellence, BPBA offers opportunities for people of all ages and skill levels to engage with the game, from players to coaches, referees, and supporters. Our programs include domestic leagues, representative basketball (Bellarine Storm), junior and senior competitions, school engagement, and skills academies. We are dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for all participants, growing the game on the Bellarine, and building a supportive community.

The Opportunity

Bellarine Storm is inviting Expressions of Interest for the position of Head Coach, State Championship Men's team for the 2026 Big V season.

This is a pivotal leadership role within our association, guiding our flagship men's program at the State Championship level. The successful applicant will help shape the direction of the program, mentor athletes and staff, and strengthen the pathway from juniors to seniors as we continue to grow and pursue long-term success.

What We Are Looking For

– Provide leadership and set a strong culture for our senior men's program

– Plan and deliver a minimum of two training nights per week plus weekend games

– Recruit, develop, and retain athletes aligned to our values

– Collaborate with our High Performance and junior programs to strengthen the pathway

– Represent the Bellarine Storm positively with players, families, sponsors, and the wider community

Accreditation:
 Basketball Australia Level 2 (Association Coach) or higher (or willingness to obtain).

Remuneration
: Honorarium based on experience.
