Shape the Future of WA Iron Ore Operations

We are seeking 5x qualified Boilermakers to join the maintenance crew at our new workshop, working on mobile plant, structural repairs, and fabrication tasks as part of their expanding mining fleet support team.


About the Role:

You'll be responsible for general fabrication, structural repairs, and wear component maintenance across a fleet that includes:

  • CAT 980M Loaders
  • CAT D10/D11 Dozers
  • 777 Dump Trucks
  • Komatsu PC1250 Excavators
  • Buckets, blades, trays, guards and handrails

Key duties include:

  • Performing structural repairs and welding to OEM standards
  • Fabricating replacement parts and safety components (e.g., guards, steps)
  • Working with high-wear components and heavy steel
  • Carrying out shutdown and scheduled maintenance support
  • Following all safety protocols and completing job documentation accurately

What We're Looking For:
  • Trade-qualified Boilermaker / Welder – Essential
  • Previous experience in mining or heavy mobile plant environments
  • Proficient in MIG, Stick, and gouging (TIG an advantage)
  • Ability to read drawings and fabricate on-site
  • Strong awareness of workplace safety standards
  • Physically fit and able to work in workshop and field conditions
  • C Class driver's licence
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical and DAS
