Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef to manage the kitchen operations on a day-to-day basis

• Partner with the Head Chef to ensure great culture, consistency of food and motivation of staff

• Managing own section and maintaining it to high standards

• Create and oversee quality and consistency with food preparation and plating, ensuring best culinary experience for the guest

• Contributing ideas to menu and recipe updates and specials as required

• Stock control, ordering, waste management and working to budget

• Maintaining a clean, safe and compliant kitchen environment

• Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes that reflect our commitment to excellence.

• Adhere to Food Safety standards and hygiene regulations.

• Collaborate with Front of House (FOH) staff to ensure seamless service.

About You

To thrive in this role, you will have:

· 2 years' experience in a high-paced kitchen environment

· A Certificate III or higher in Commercial Cookery

· Exceptional skills in food preparation, portion control, and presentation

· A strong understanding of Food Safety and Hygiene standards

· The ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

· A passion for culinary creativity and sustainable practices

· Great communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
