Join a role where your nursing skills support people to receive safe, effective care in the comfort of their own homes. As a Clinical Nurse with the Rural Hospital in the Home team in Warwick, you'll work closely with colleagues, clients and families to coordinate care that keeps people well and connected to their community. This role suits someone who values rural living, enjoys problem solving, and appreciates the variety that comes with caring for people outside a traditional hospital setting.
What Your Day Will Look Like….
A Clinical Nurse in the Rural Hospital in the Home service plays a vital role in delivering safe, evidence-based care directly to patients in their homes, ensuring quality outcomes while upholding Darling Downs Health values. Each day involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, exercising advanced clinical judgement, and maintaining accountability to NMBA standards, alongside mentoring colleagues and supporting continuous improvement. Through strong communication, risk management, and leadership, the role balances compassionate patient care with professional responsibility, safeguarding vulnerable individuals and strengthening rural health services.
