About the role

Are you passionate about creating lasting change in people's lives? Join Unison's Transitional Housing Program as a Place Manager and be the driving force behind helping individuals move from temporary housing to long-term stability. Based primarily in Melbourne's vibrant Western suburbs, this is more than just a job—it's a chance to be part of something truly meaningful.

As a Place Manager, you'll work alongside stakeholders and external agencies, to support the journey between a renter, their property and their future. You'll play a pivotal role in:

  • Building strong, respectful relationships with renters and support workers
  • Ensuring housing needs are met with compassion and efficiency
  • Navigating tenancy management in line with the Residential Tenancies Act and other key legislation

Your work will directly support people with complex backgrounds and diverse needs—so empathy, resilience, and people skills are essential.
