- We have an excellent opportunity for a casual Scheduling Coordinator to join Country Home Services' workforce scheduling team, with potential for ongoing permanent positions commencing in 2026.
A variety of shifts are available between 630am - 6pm, Monday - Friday. The first 2 to 4 weeks of this role will either be training at the Barossa/Kapunda office or at Kadina (depending on candidate's location) before becoming a hybrid work-from-home role.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and flexible Scheduling Coordinator to join our team in ensuring accurate allocation of services to regional clients.
- Key Responsibilities
- In this role, you will be responsible for efficient scheduling of our direct care providers to ensure continuous high-quality service reaches all our valued clients. Reporting directly to the Scheduling Manager, you will maintain open lines of communication with your immediate team and stakeholders to stay up-to-date on resource allocation and how it impacts service delivery.
- Key tasks include but not limited to:
- • Schedule direct care workers to ensure quality service provision to clients.
- • Analyse worker availability and client requirements and preferences to ensure most efficient use of resources.
- • Monitor, manage and action notifications received from care partners.
- • Maintain the integrity of data and documentation within Visual Care and Employment Hero platforms.
- • Process planned and unplanned leave.
- • Verify and follow up on discrepancies and authorisations in direct care worker timesheets.
- • Provide administration support to the Scheduling Manager and team as delegated.
• Support and implement continuous improvement of scheduling processes.Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for this position has excellent computer literacy skills, outstanding communication skills (written and verbal) and has a strong eye for detail. You must meet the following criteria:
- • Previous experience in a rostering/scheduling position (highly desirable)
- • An empathetic approach to dealing with CHS team members and the sensitivities of clients and providers regarding scheduling issues
- • Excellent communication (written, verbal & listening) and interpersonal skills
- • Ability to autonomously manage time and organise workload
- • Flexible to work within weekday operating hours and willing to travel for meetings or training
- • NOTE: an aged care certificate/qualification or currently undertaking study will be highly regarded
- What We Offer:
- -$43.24 (for Cert 3 qualified candidates) per hour inclusive of casual loading + super
