We are seeking an experienced ECT Room Leaderto join our established team in the Preschool/Kindy Room (ages 4-5) at our brand-new, 94-place service in Elizabeth Downs, set to open in September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to establish and grow a centre from the ground up, with the full support of a dedicated leadership team.

You will provide leadership in delivering high quality, inclusive learning programs, while working closely alongside the Centre Director to strive for an exceeding centre.

About the role:

• Lead and mentor educators to achieve excellence and maintain strong professional relationships with one another.
• Lead and develop the team to deliver a high-quality cycle of planning, curriculum and outcomes for each child in your room.
• Ensure that all documentation, of children's learning, is visible and accessible to families and contains high-quality information to meet regulatory requirements.
• Create a friendly, secure and stimulating interactive learning environment.
• Maintain positive working relationships with all team members.
• Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times.

About you:

• A Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education and Care (or an ACECQA-approved equivalent)
• Unrestricted full-time working rights in Australia
• Previous experience as a Room Leader is advantageous
• Strong Knowledge and experience of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Outstanding level of verbal and written communication
• Strong computer skills
• A current Working with Children Check
• A current approved First Aid/CPR/Asthma and Anaphylaxis/Child Protection training, or willingness to obtain
