About the role

Rylock Pty Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic team-oriented Truck Driver to join our team at the Dingley Village Manufacturing Facility. The successful candidate will be offered a permanent full-time wage, including a Base Hourly Rate + Super + Overtime.

The main focus of your role involves the delivery of Aluminium Extrusions, Glass, Timber, Fabricated Product & Componentry locally with the occasionally delivery into regional Victoria and Southern NSW.

You will be responsible for ensuring the Safe & Timely delivery of these goods utilising our Truck & Pig Trailer (20T GCM). The role is varied and will also consist of loading the truck manually and utilising a Forklift.

What you'll be doing

  • Safely operate a medium rigid (MR) vehicle to deliver goods to customers within the local and regional areas
  • Load and unload vehicles, ensuring goods are transported securely
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections
  • Provide excellent customer service and liaise with customers as required
  • Adhere to all relevant road rules, safety regulations and company policies
  • Assist with other warehouse or logistics tasks as needed

What we're looking for

  • Current MR driver's licence with a clean driving record
  • An ability to correctly complete the NHVR - National Driver Work Diary
  • Previous experience in a delivery or logistics role, ideally in a road transport environment
  • Must have valid Forklift Licence and experience loading & unloading trucks
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Physical fitness to lift and manoeuvre goods safely
  • Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks
