They are are a well established, respected radiology group proudly serving the Sunshine Coast and hinterland communities. With practices in Noosa, Cooroy and Coolum. They are independent, and 100% radiologist owned, and committed to delivering high-quality imaging and patient focused care by remaining at the forefront of new imaging techniques to benefit their doctors, referrers, and patients.

Across their practices, they provide a comprehensive range of imaging and procedural services including MRI, PET/CT, CT, SPECT/CT, 3D mammography, contract enhanced mammography, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, BMD, dental imaging, and general x-ray. Their teams go above and beyond to give the greatest customer service to patients every single day. Patient care is always their number one priority and focus.

About This Opportunity

With continued growth in imaging services, they have a great new opportunity for a Director of Breast Imaging.

You will lead the breast imaging service, overseeing clinical standards, service development, and quality assurance. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of radiologists, sonographers, radiographers, and referring clinicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert interpretation of mammography, contract enhanced mammography, breast ultrasound and MRI.
• Perform image-guided breast procedures including biopsies and localisations.
• Lead clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and support radiology staff and trainees.
• Drive innovation and service development in breast imaging.
• Collaborate with referrers and external specialists to enhance patient care pathways.

• Current Specialist registration with AHPRA
• Proven leadership and team collaboration skills.
