UGL have an opportunity for experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Technicians to join our team in Pinjarra for a shutdown project.

About Role

  • Attractive rates + site uplift + travel allowance + penalties
  • Roster 6/1
  • Daily DIDO
  • 10 Hour Days
  • 6/8 weeks of work starting 1st of September

To be considered for the role you will possess the following skills, experience, and attributes:

  • WA Grade A Electrical Licence
  • Working at Heights and Confined Spaces (Within 3 Years with 6 months validity)
  • HRWL (WP, LF – Desirable)
  • Site experience mandatory

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot instrumentation and electrical systems on gas turbines
  • Inspect, test, and repair control systems, PLCs, DCS, and field instruments associated with gas turbines
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and manuals
  • Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance, ensuring all systems meet safety and operational standards
  • Diagnose and resolve faults to minimize downtime and optimize turbine performance
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and safety personnel to drive continuous improvement
