Bulk Regional Express QLD are seeking a motivated and experienced Depot Manager to oversee our Maryborough operation. You'll take charge of a busy site that receives linehaul freight through the night, conducts an early morning sort, and manages last-mile deliveries across the Fraser Coast via vans, pantechs, and rigids. This role is perfect for a hands-on leader who thrives on operational performance, team leadership, and delivering outstanding service to our customers.

What you'll be doing:

• Leading daily operations from linehaul receival through to final delivery.
• Overseeing freight sort, scanning, route planning, and driver dispatch.
• Managing a high-performing team of drivers, supervisors, and sort staff.
• Driving safety, compliance, and Chain of Responsibility standards.
• Monitoring KPIs including DIFOT, scan compliance, and cost-per-drop.
• Resolving service issues quickly and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Managing rosters, budgets, and operational reporting.

What you'll need:

• 5+ years in transport, depot, or logistics management.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
• In-depth knowledge of last-mile delivery and route optimisation.
• Proven understanding of CoR, NHVR, and WHS compliance.
• Proficiency with transport management systems and freight scanning technology.
• A hands-on, customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills.
