Job Description

We're looking for a Cyber Business Analyst who will be at the forefront of a large-scale, high-priority cybersecurity program, acting as the crucial bridge between senior business stakeholders and NCS's technical delivery teams.

In this key client-facing role, you will lead workshops to elicit, analyse, and document business and functional requirements for complex cybersecurity initiatives. You will support the project delivery team in defining scope, managing backlogs, and defining acceptance criteria within an Agile framework.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a similar role as a Business Analyst, ideally from a technology consultancy or a large, complex enterprise environment.
  • Demonstrable experience working on dedicated cybersecurity projects (e.g., Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC), Identity & Access Management (IAM), Security Operations, Network Security, or Threat Management).
  • Exceptional client-facing and stakeholder management skills, with the credibility and polish to engage senior executives and technical experts.
  • Strong practical knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies (JIRA, Confluence) and a solid understanding of common security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, ASD Essential Eight).
  • Highly desirable experience in environments using SIEM, SOAR, or UEBA platforms (e.g.,
    Devo
    ,
    Trustwave
    ) and Advanced Threat/Endpoint tools (e.g.,
    FireEye/Trellix
    , CrowdStrike).
  • Highly desirable experience working on projects involving Network Security/SASE (e.g.,
    Palo Alto Networks
    ,
    Cisco Secure
    ), Application Delivery Controllers (e.g.,
    F5
    ), or DDoS mitigation (e.g.,
    Akamai
    ).
  • Familiarity with Cloud-Native Security principles and platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a significant advantage.
