Eastern Suburbs Private Hospital is a 38-bed rehabilitation hospital. Our hospital delivers a range of inpatient and day program services and access to allied health services. The standard caseload will be made up of Orthopaedic, Cardiac, Neuro and General Reconditioning patients.

The hospital is 5 minutes away from the Coogee and Clovelly beaches and well positioned for public transport by bus as well as free onsite parking. About the Role:

We are currently recruiting for a Physiotherapist to work in our multidisciplinary team to provide high quality physiotherapy services. The position is to join our inpatient Hospital team for a Full-time Contract. We take pride in providing high-quality patient centred care, therefore to fill this role you must be dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients. Renumeration will be $42-$45 per hour pending experience.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Work and liaise with a multidisciplinary team regarding patient care and therapy in the allied health department

·       Provision of high quality, evidence-based physiotherapy services in both hydrotherapy and gym-based rehabilitation

·       Provision of clinical supervision for assistances and junior staff

·       Supervision of physiotherapy students

·       Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the Physiotherapy department at Eastern Suburbs Private Hospital

·       Ensuring the reputation of excellence is maintained to the highest standard

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

·       Current Registration with AHPRA.

· years' experience working in an inpatient hospital rehabilitation service

·       Clinical skills across a range of neurological, cardiac and orthopaedic rehabilitation

·       Experience with supervision of junior physiotherapists and students

·       Demonstration of effective multidisciplinary teamwork

·       Demonstrated excellent time management and self-organisational skills

·       Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills

·       Demonstrated commitment to quality activities
