Contract: Ongoing, Full-time – 80.0 hrs/fortnight with monthly Accrued Day Off

The Role:

Join a modern, dynamic department providing high quality Radiography services to clients and clinicians at BRHS in conjunction with other Medical Imaging team members. As member of this skilled and professional team you will be encouraged and supported to participate in continuous professional development programs to further consolidate your skills

The Department & BRHS:

Our Medical Imaging department operates over a variety of specialities and our facilities comprise state of the art equipment including soon to be installed United Healthcare 1.5T MRI machine, Canon Aquilion One Genesis Edition CT scanner, new Siemens Luminous Lotus Max Fluoroscopy Unit, modern procedure rooms and operation of a multidisciplinary clinic in central Bairnsdale.A full range of interventional and fluoroscopic procedures are undertaken within the department with our service also being complimented by the expertise of visiting Radiologists.

Key criteria required:

• Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Imaging or equivalent
• AHPRA Registration as a Radiographer & Department of Health Radiation Use Licence
• Membership with ASMIRT & current enrolment in a CPD program
• A good level of knowledge of current Medical Imaging practices with experience using a range of Medical Imaging equipment
