About the Role
As a Radiation Therapist, you'll play a vital role in delivering safe, accurate and compassionate care to patients across a variety of clinical specialties. Using state-of-the-art equipment, you'll perform radiation therapy procedures with precision and professionalism, ensuring the best possible outcomes for each individual in your care. You'll also be part of a supportive and forward-thinking team that values excellence, collaboration and innovation in every aspect of treatment and planning.
In this rewarding position, you'll have the opportunity to mentor and guide other radiation therapists, as well as support undergraduate and work experience students as they develop their clinical skills. You'll contribute to the ongoing enhancement of professional standards, participate in quality assurance initiatives, and be encouraged to engage in approved research programs that advance the field of radiation therapy. About You
You are a qualified and experienced Radiation Therapist who is passionate about delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centred care. You'll bring strong technical knowledge, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to ongoing professional growth in a dynamic clinical environment.
Key Requirements:
Qualified and Registered Professional: Hold a tertiary qualification in Radiation Therapy, and registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia.
Technical and Clinical Expertise: Demonstrated experience in treatment planning and delivery, with sound knowledge of current Radiation Therapy techniques, technology, and emerging global trends.
Collaborative and Adaptable Team Member: Proven ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team, maintaining positive relationships across all levels of staff and adapting well to change.
Strong Communicator and Problem Solver: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a resourceful, innovative approach to challenges and a commitment to continuous improvement and safety.
