About the Role

Join the team at Midland Brick, where safety and system integrity are at the heart of what we do. We're looking for a dedicated professional to develop, implement, and manage health and safety systems that comply with legislation and company standards. In this role, you'll oversee MYOSH safety management system, lead training initiatives, maintain documentation, and drive continuous improvements to foster a strong safety culture. Your role will include:
  • Manage MYOSH safety management system.
  • Provide user support and lead system training.
  • Identify and implement safety system improvements.
  • Prepare monthly data reporting and presentations.
  • Develop and maintain training system reporting for accurate manager oversight.
  • Develop HS documentation with the HS Manager.
  • Oversee HS document control.
  • Ensure integrity of injury management data.
  • Support continuous improvement and a strong safety culture.
  • Assist the Safety Team to ensure safety system development and continuous improvement.
Skills and Experience:
  • Previous experience in occupational health and safety (OHS) is essential.
  • MYOSH system administrator management experience is highly desirable.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships across various departments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a high level of self-motivation.
  • Strong communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills (verbal and written).
  • Proficient in MS Office with strong organisational and administration skills.
  • Background in production, industrial, or manufacturing industries is advantageous.
