Role Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Store Manager
to lead our brand-new Collins Booksellers shop at
The Pines Shopping Centre , Doncaster
. This is a full-time, on-site position responsible for all aspects of store operations — from managing staff and ensuring outstanding customer experiences, to overseeing inventory, visual merchandising, and store events. You will play a key role in shaping the store's identity within the community, achieving sales targets, and fostering a love of reading.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire the store team to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Manage daily store operations, including staffing, rostering, and performance
  • Oversee inventory management and maintain optimal stock levels
  • Plan and execute engaging store events and community outreach
  • Ensure visual merchandising is inviting and aligned with brand standards
  • Achieve sales, profitability, and loss prevention goals

Qualifications & Attributes

  • Proven experience in store management (book retail experience highly regarded)
  • Strong customer service skills with a genuine focus on customer satisfaction
