We are looking for a laboratory technician to join our growing team. Be part of a vibrant laboratory, specializing in concrete and soil testing at a Nata accredited facility. We're especially interested in school leavers who are keen to learn about working in a laboratory and undertake formal training.

We have an excellent reputation in the industry and test for local infrastructure and construction projects. We also have a concrete testing laboratory on the same site servicing tier 1 customers from around Australia.

What we do:

  • We provide testing services in a wide range of standard such as AS1289, TfNSW and AS1141.
  • Our testing takes place both within the laboratory, but also in the field at customer sites.

What you will do:

  • Receive, prepare and process concrete samples
  • Measure and test the samples in a timely manner
  • Enter the test results in a specialised Laboratory Information System
  • General lab duties, including equipment maintenance

What you need:

  • Ability to work in a busy environment
  • Previous experience soil testing is desirable
  • Able to work with and interpret data
  • Year 12 certificate or equivalent qualification required
  • Physical capability to perform heavy lifting for sample handling and equipment operation
