Security Officer Positions available

Baaz Security is currently hiring security officer positions (North & South) for retail (Loss prevention), Asset protection and Shopping centers security positions.

We require Licensed Security Officers who want to work in a dynamic environment, with a great team of experienced, qualified and motivated Security Officers.

We have positions available in various locations North and South of WA, with varying hours (including night shift) based on availability and operational requirements.

Our Security Officer are responsible for delivering the highest standards of both customer and security services.

These roles require experienced individuals and those new staff willing to learn and develop excellent knowledge in site security, building management and fire control systems, under the application of standard operating procedures.

In addition to excellent communication skills and six-star customer service attributes, the role requires the aptitude and knowledge to apply security risk and hazard management principles in the work environment. The ability to maintain strong working relationships with Clients and key stakeholders including local Police to deliver security that meet the needs of the site, will be paramount to your success in this role.

Requirements are as follows-

  • Current WA Security License,
  • Flexible to do 8-12 shifts if required including weekends and nights.
  • Basic First Aid & CPR accreditation are required &
  • Work with Children Check (Hospital & School work)

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a security presence and monitoring,
  • Prevent unauthorised entrance, vandalism, or anti-social behaviour,
  • Provide great customer service and directions to patrons,
  • Report on any incidents,
  • Good understanding of computer skills including use of CCTV,
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism,
  • Customer service is important at this location as there will always be customers going in and out of the venue throughout your shift. You must remain vigilant also as people can access this facility 24/7.

Wage Range

$76,515 to $78,000 Full time
