We believe in real collaboration, technical excellence, and delivering smart, sustainable solutions.

The Role

We're on the lookout for an experienced Senior or Principal Hydrogeologist to lead complex groundwater projects across NSW. This is a pivotal role where you'll drive both the technical and project management aspects of hydrogeological investigations, modelling, and reporting — all while playing a key role in mentoring, business growth, and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of hydrogeological investigations, monitoring, and modelling programs
  • Manage end-to-end project delivery — including fieldwork coordination, budgeting, reporting, and client communication
  • Prepare and review technical reports, ensuring quality and compliance with NSW and national standards
  • Contribute to and manage the proposal process, including fee estimates and client liaison
  • Attend and contribute to internal project meetings and external stakeholder discussions
  • Apply hydrogeological analysis software, including MODFLOW, PLAXIS, SEEP/W
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NSW water legislation, WaterNSW and DCCEEW requirements

What We're Looking For

  • A seasoned hydrogeologist with proven experience in both fieldwork and groundwater modelling
  • Strong grasp of hydrogeological software and conceptual modelling
  • A collaborative leader who can juggle technical depth with project oversight
  • Familiarity with the NSW regulatory landscape, particularly water licensing and compliance
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills — you're as comfortable writing reports as you are in front of a client

  • Work with a tight-knit, technically elite team doing meaningful work
  • Central Pyrmont office with collaborative leadership and flexible working culture
  • Long-term career development with autonomy and genuine impact
  • Access to exciting projects in the infrastructure, development and environmental sectors
