This position will work locally across locations including Mandurah, Pinjarra, Rockingham and surrounding suburbs.

While the position will primarily be dedicated to painting services, some work alongside other departments within the company may be required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and priming
• Apply paint, protective coatings, and sealants to roofs, eaves, fascias, gables, interior and exterior walls, and ceilings
• Assist in roof restoration projects by repainting tiled or metal roofs
• Identify surface damage or deterioration and report repair needs
• Apply anti-rust treatments and weather-resistant coatings as required
• Work from ladders, scaffolding, or harness systems at heights
• Record details of work completed, paint types used, and job progress
• Adhere to company policies, WHS regulations, and environmental standards
• Collaborate with the team to plan and execute workload efficiently and effectively
• Always ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients

Qualifications, experience, and skills:

• Certificate III in Painting and Decorating or equivalent (Essential)
• Proven expertise and work history delivering painting services to residential and commercial properties
• Solid understanding of safety protocols and regulation in relation to painting work
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills
• Experience working with Elevated Work Platforms and/or a willingness to learn on the job
