Digital marketing Specialist/Graphic Design/Content Development

Treehouse Theatre are a small charity that allows children from refugee families to tell their stories to live audiences in Sydney. Our two main goals are to help with trauma recovery and to build connection and understanding with the wider community (especially school groups).

We have a small volunteer marketing team that covers social media and we are looking to add someone with digital design and content development capabilities, particularly short videos and images. Because we are based in Sydney, it's vital the person is based in Sydney, so they can attend rehearsals and capture content.

Rehearsals are on Sundays and Ideally you would go to 3-4 rehearsal days in October and November, leading up to the shows in mid-November. There will be further shows in 2026, which we hope the successful candidate will work on with our team..

Responsibilities

  • Capturing content at rehearsals
  • Crafting the design that can be used in all our marketing and social media
  • Liaising with the other members of the marketing team and helping with all other aspects of our marketing
  • Attending the performances to capture more content (audience interviews and behind the scenes with the cast)

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years hands on experience with graphic design
  • Track record of content development
  • Ability to use Canva, Mailchimp, Meta Business Suite
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Must be based in Greater Sydney area
