Earthmoving Plant Operator – Remote NT Projects | Immediate Start

Northern Stock Water is seeking a capable and motivated Earthmoving Plant Operator (ANZSCO to join our dynamic project teams across remote Northern Territory locations. This hands-on role involves operating a variety of earthmoving machines to assist with agricultural water infrastructure works, including roads, fence lines, dam construction, and poly pipe trenching.

Duties Include:

  • Operate dozers, graders, excavators, and other earthmoving equipment.

  • Work on a range of civil and agricultural earthworks – including grading, clearing, trenching, and compaction.

  • Using GPS systems to ensure accurate placement of materials and alignment of grading wor

  • Assist with basic machinery maintenance and daily safety checks.

  • Follow site safety and environmental procedures.

You'll Need:

  • Proven experience as a Dozer/Grader driver, with a solid track record in operating heavy machinery

  • Strong knowledge of GPS systems for accurate work execution

  • Ability to maintain machinery and perform routine inspections and maintenance

  • Physically fit and capable of working in remote locations and under varying weather conditions

  • Valid Driver's License (essential for travel to and from the site)

  • A positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with a team
