Our Red Feather Inn serves as the arrival and departure hub for guests -where their journeys begin and end. As a Houseperson, you will play a key role behind the scenes, ensuring our guests experience a smooth, welcoming start and finish to their trips.
This seasonal, part-time fixed term role (from early October to May 2026) is perfect for someone who is keen to gain practical hospitality and tourism experience and is available to work regular weekend shifts including most Saturdays.
Here's what you'll be doing:
- Prepare arrival and departure lounges, including luggage, gear, cleaning and waste disposal
- Assist with guest service by setting up drinks, canapés, and dining areas and clearing dishes
- Manage laundry and linen tasks including collection, unpacking, and returning clean items
- Unpack deliveries and ensure supplies are stocked appropriately
- Return used hire gear to storage and support the team during guest arrivals and departures, including weekend check-in coverage
- Support the team with general operations and property upkeep

- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, organised guest areas
- Good communication and time management skills with a friendly personality
- Physically able to safely lift and carry guest gear and supplies
