Structural Engineer – Formwork & Scaffolding

The Role

As a Structural Engineer, you'll design and oversee temporary works including scaffolding, shoring, and formwork systems. You'll collaborate closely with project managers, site teams, and clients to deliver safe, practical, and cost-effective solutions on some of Australia's most exciting construction projects.

What You'll Do

• Design and prepare calculations, drawings, and technical documentation for scaffolding and formwork systems.
• Provide engineering support to site teams during planning and construction.
• Conduct site visits to assess conditions and verify safe installation.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Collaborate with clients and contractors on technical approvals.
• Drive innovation by optimising designs and recommending new technologies.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's an advantage).
• 2–3 years' experience in structural design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Staad Pro, or similar software.
• Familiarity with scaffolding and formwork systems (PERI, Doka, Cuplock, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• PE licence or equivalent (preferred).
