Role Overview:

Workshop Technicians focus on core skill areas of Refrigeration (HVAC), Assembly or Electrical. Their collective roles is to use their skills and knowledge to assemble or repair Stolway products according to drawings, specifications and scope provided by the Engineering Team.

Duties of Role:

  • Operate to schedule / priority list as provided
  • Operate in a safe manner
  • Assemble projects according to the specification and drawings provided, using skills and knowledge of Stolway products
  • Repair equipment according to the scope and drawings provided
  • Complete required QA and project documentation
  • Reporting as required
  • Ensure maintenance of WHS and QA documentation
  • Maintain houskeeping standards
  • Maintain currency with required Standards and Codes of Practice.
  • Contribute to Lean activities and assembly process innovation
  • Other duties as required

Role

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Relevant Trade qualifications in Mechanical (Fitting/Welding), Electrical or Refrigeration, or similar discipline, and/or
  • Four years experience in assembly of Stolway products or similar
  • Forklift ticket preferred

Work Experience

  • Minimum 2 years post trade experience preferred
  • HVAC experience preferred
