Join our Second Line Operational Risk Team who play a key role in the independent oversight, review and challenge of Macquarie's enterprise-wide Cyber and Technology Risk posture and management, helping to effect change in Non-Financial Risk Management culture across the organisation.

What role will you play?
As a Senior Analyst in the Operational Risk Team, you will provide oversight for risks associated with the management and governance of Cyber and Technology across Macquarie. You will be responsible for reviewing and challenging Line 1's management of Cyber and Technology risks, ensuring that key controls are designed effectively and are operating as intended. You will analyse data to deliver insights from our monitoring of risks and incidents to senior management, identify opportunities for improvement, perform assurance activities, and support the delivery and execution of our cyber and technology risk management frameworks. In this role, you may also help provide training and awareness on cyber and technology risk management policies.

What You Offer

  • Prior experience in a Cyber and Technology Risk Management, Cybersecurity Governance, or a related cyber and technology-centric role
  • Experience in a risk management (Line 1 or 2), assurance, or audit function, preferably within financial or professional services
  • A strong grasp of operational risk management principles and their application to cyber and technology related
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence effectively across different levels of the organisation, and build relationships and internal networks across Groups
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify key risks, form an independent view and challenge stakeholders on their management of risk as required
  • Risk management experience across other non-financial risk domains (e.g. Supplier, Data, Resilience) is desirable but not essential.
