Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mechanical Fitter located in Baringa, QLD. The Mechanical Fitter will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining hydraulic and electric levelling systems for motorhomes and specialty vehicles. Daily tasks include performing machinery maintenance, conducting preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, and fitting components with precision to ensure optimal functionality and safety.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Fitting and Machinery handling
  • Knowledge of Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance processes
  • Experience with Machining and working with specialised equipment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow technical drawings and assembly instructions
  • A relevant trade certificate is required for this position
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
  • Previous experience in a similar role for a m
    in 3-5 years
    in the automotive, machinery, or specialty vehicle industry would be required
  • Must have previous experience in fabrication
