We recycle and remanufacture over 950,000 tonnes of cardboard every year. We make boxes from 100% recycled paper or kraft, both of which are easily recycled through established recycling services. Our corrugated cardboard packaging comes in an enormous variety of sizes, shapes and board types to suit your needs – whether you're a small business or a large multinational. We provide high quality, cost effective packaging for all markets including beverage, packaged food, dairy, industrial, meat, fruit and produce. From insulated, leakproof retail-ready boxes for food products to export packaging and custom-designed solutions, we have a box for every product.

The Role:

Reporting to the Shift Manager, this role will be permanent full time working afternoon shift with our busy production team in Smithfield.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Operating production machines and associated equipment for the manufacture of cardboard packaging
  • Assist with job changes and associated tasks
  • Perform quality inspection checks and other procedural checks to ensure the best quality is delivered to our customers
  • Housekeeping duties and any other ad hoc tasks required as part of a site production team
  • Contribute to a safe working environment for yourself and the team

  • To be successful in this role you will have to be able to operate in a fast-paced dynamic manufacturing environment.
  • You will be fit and healthy.
  • Have strong interpersonal skills (clear communication, self-confidence, teamwork and collaboration),
  • The ability to work under pressure and display a good eye for detail particularly in quality control.
  • Most importantly is your attitude, you'll be performance driven, be adaptable to changes in the workplace and be keen to learn new skills, processes, and procedures.
  • You'll ideally have previous experience working within a manufacturing environment and hands on experience operating machines.
