Triple Zero Victoria (TZV) provides the critical link between the Victorian community and the state's emergency services agencies. It provides Victoria's 24-hour emergency call-taking and dispatch services for Police, Fire, Ambulance and VICSES.

About the Role

The function of the Manager, Communications and Partnerships is to oversee the delivery of a strategic framework for community engagement and develop a clear stakeholder communication and engagement strategy in accordance with TZV's objectives and values.

Reporting to the Director, Strategy Policy and Planning, this role sits within The Governance, Planning & Intelligence (GP&I) Department.

This role is responsible for delivering the corporate policy, planning and intelligence functions across the organisation. The goal of Communications and Partnerships team is to support the delivery of strategic communications and engagement to help TZV continually improve the way it delivers services to the Victorian community. This role will also contribute to identifying innovative ways to achieve effective engagement, demonstrating continuous improvement and leadership.

Day to day responsibilities include:

Develop and implement a strategic framework for community engagement and partnerships that supports stakeholder engagementCoordinate the governance and strategic delivery of communications materials to support workforce engagement Provide expert advice to key stakeholders in relation to community partnerships, workforce engagement and digital communication strategies, whilst managing channel oversight and performanceLead a newly formed high performing team focused on collaborative service delivery, continuous improvement and innovation.

About You

A well organised, independent candidate with the ability to handle pressure and deal with a wide range of stakeholders. The successful candidate will hold a tertiary qualification or have relevant experience in communications, engagement or related discipline.

The successful candidate will have the following experience, skills and attributes:

Demonstrated high-level strategic communication capabilities and experience, including in contemporary communication strategies that support continuous improvement.  Extensive experience in the design and implementation of an internal communications function in a professional or service-based organisation.Strong experience in community and stakeholder engagement, preferably with government, statutory or emergency organisations.  Excellent proficiency in the use of digital media platforms including web and app-based systems.Experience in the use and implementation of stakeholder analysis and data analytics to optimise communications activities and boost engagement reach.
