ABOUT THE ROLE: You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our members and guests enjoy outstanding dining experiences in all areas of the business, including the Café, Bar and Events. You will assist in leading a dedicated team, oversee daily operations, and uphold the highest standards of service and quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the day-to-day operation of SOL Cafe & Bar.

• Lead food and beverage staff, ensuring high standards of service and presentation.

• Handle member and guest enquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.

• Supervise a variety of events, from internal ticketed events to meetings, conferences, corporate golf days, and weddings between 40 and 150 guests.

• Oversee event logistics, room sets, planning, inventory control, staff scheduling, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

• Monitor and maintain quality control of food and beverage offerings, ensuring consistency and excellence.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: We are looking for a confident leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for hospitality. You will bring:

• At least 2 years' experience in a food and beverage supervisory or team leader role, preferably in a hospitality or golf resort environment.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.

• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in food and beverage service.

• Available to work a flexible roster to suit the needs of a 7-day operation – Evenings / Weekends / Public Holidays as required
