About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanic qualified, -3rd or 4th year apprentice Light Vehicle to join our busy workshop team at Western Sydney Automotive in Minchinbury, NSW. This is a full-time role, where you will be responsible for conducting vehicle maintenance and repairs to a high standard.

What you'll be doing

  1. Diagnose, service and repair light vehicles as per manufacturer specifications
  2. Conduct regular maintenance checks and services on a variety of vehicles
  3. Perform repairs to engines, transmissions, suspension, brakes, electrical and other components
  4. Use diagnostic equipment and tools to efficiently identify and resolve vehicle issues
  5. Maintain accurate records of all work completed
  6. Ensure a safe and clean work environment at all times

What we're looking for

  1. Relevant trade qualifications in Automotive Mechanics or similar
  2. Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a light vehicle mechanic
  3. Excellent knowledge of vehicle systems, components and repair procedures
  4. Ability to work efficiently and to a high standard of workmanship
  5. Good communication skills and customer service orientation
  6. Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
