Role: Senior Automation Engineer – Superannuation

Location: Melbourne

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:


• Analyze functional requirements related to superannuation platforms and translate them into detailed test plans and test cases – Both Manual and Automation


• Lead and execute testing across functional, integration, regression, and support UAT phases.


• Use JIRA and Zephyr for test case management, defect tracking, and reporting.


• Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Tricentis Tosca.


• Automate functional, regression, and integration test cases.


• Conduct API and UI testing using tools (e.g., Postman).


• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure complete test coverage.


• Document test results and provide quality reporting to project leads and Test Manager.


• Mentor junior testers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.


• Support data validation testing for member and investment platforms.


• Identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience:


• 10+ years of software testing experience, with at least 2 to 3 years in superannuation or financial services.


• Strong experience in Automation Tool : Tricentis Tosca (Mandatory) – at least 5+ years of work experience


• Strong manual testing expertise and understanding of QA methodologies.


• Strong understanding of Agile practices and at least 3+ years of working in Agile team


• Proficiency in JIRA, Zephyr, and other test management tools.


• Familiarity with superannuation concepts, and Investment options.


• Experience with SQL, XML, and data validation techniques.


• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.


• ISTQB certification or equivalent.

Desirable Skills but not necessary :


• Experience with automation tools (e.g., Tosca).
